Guido Buehler

Guido is the owner of GILOCA AG, an Investment and Advisory firm, conducting direct investments in FinTech, Real Estate, Early-Stage Companies and Art. His deep and holistic background in investments & financial affairs, coupled with his strong affinity into technology, offered him the opportunity to be on the forefront of innovation.

Guido is a visionary & experienced solution partner to sophisticated private clients & institutional investors, particularly specialized in providing holistic advice on total wealth. He brings rare business, products and services expertise in a number of areas including investment banking, portfolio management, market infrastructure and utilities, and last but not least Information Technology.

For instance, Guido is the Co-Founder of SEBA Bank AG, the first global “New Generation Financial Institution”, based on blockchain technology. SEBA Bank is a FINMA licensed Swiss Bank that acts as a bridge to the new digital economy by providing clients with an integrated and end-to-end banking platform for cryptocurrencies and digital assets. SEBA serves more than 25 Markets globally and has a branch in Abu Dhabi. SEBA’s offering includes a trading and credit platform, digital custody services, investment solutions and asset tokenization. SEBA’s clients include banks, asset managers, corporates, family offices and private professional investors. Guido raised successfully CHF 230 MM. in three investment rounds, whilst he was acting as CEO until recently.

Prior to joining SEBA, Guido was the Chairman and Founding Partner of award-winning B&B Analytics AG, a boutique risk analytics and research firm catering to family offices, asset managers, pension funds and private banks. Guido was also the CEO and Founding Partner of B&B Wealth Solutions AG, a Zug based multi-family office and the CEO of Hérens Partners AG, a FINMA licensed asset manager company which he helped reposition.

Guido played a vital role in influencing international capital market standards and utilities in the past decades. Among several mandates, he served as a Board Member of UBS Investment Bank in London, was Chairman of the European Central Bank’s “Operations Managers Group” in Frankfurt, and Non-Executive Board Member of DTCC/DerivServ, as well as member of the DTCC Compliance & Operational Risk Committee in New York. Currently, he is Board Member of Swiss Blockchain Federation, sponsored by the Swiss Government.
