Gain equity control of distressed companies through the purchase of fulcrum security positions.

Operating Strategy

Seek to return companies to profitability through operational expertise, financial controls, equity infusion and debt restructuring.

Situations

Middle-market companies, with revenue up to $250 million, struggling due to poor capital structure, mismanagement and/or owner interference.

Industries

Building Materials, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Energy, Energy Services, and Real Estate.

Transaction Size

Between $5 and $50 million unleveraged equity position.

Leverage

Chiron may, as appropriate, leverage its investments.
